Al Cavalari (theflagguys) > Here is some more of that extraordinary access to which we were treated. It is our Friday late night visit to the Texas House Chamber that houses the famous San Jacinto Battle Flag.

Al Cavalari (theflagguys) > From the Texas Capitol web site:"This banner is thought to be the only Texas battle flag at the April 21, 1836, confrontation where the Republic of Texas army surprised Mexico's General Santa Anna and won the War of Independence." A fine quality reproduction is seen there on display. The original flag is behind the drapes to protect it from light and dust.
