If I get a response I will post it here. The ranger told me that the four stars represent Lady Bird, his two daughters and his dog at the time!

Again, here is a benefit of NAVA membership. At every meeting we get to see things that most visitors to a museum do not. Christopher LaPlante a of the Texas State Archives, came in on a saturday and brought part of the collection to us in our meeting room. Thanks sir.
